Everything you need to know about HydraFacial

The 3-step non-invasive HydraFacial skin treatment utilises a gentle handheld suction tool to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin, resulting in instantly clean, glowing skin. Though it is super popular (especially with celebrities) all around the world, we are only one of three salons in Adelaide that offer HydraFacial.

How does it work?

HydraFacial serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instantly gratifying glow in just 3 steps:

  1. Cleanse and peel: The skin is cleansed first. Then, a chemical peel is applied to uncover a new layer of skin, dissolve dead skin cells, and unclog pores. The strength of the peel depends on your skin and concerns.
  2. Extract and hydrate: Bye bye blackheads! The machine sucks the gunk out of your skin while simultaneously excreting an intense moisturising serum to hydrate the skin. Think of the hand-held pen tool like a closed loop: the serum leaves one hole in the end of the pen, while your blackheads (and whatever else may be sitting on your face) are whisked away via the other hole. The cycle continues until the dirt is gone.
  3. Fuse and protect: Now your skin is clean as a whistle, it’s time to put the good stuff back. The skin’s surface is saturated with a vitamin infusion filled with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow and overall skin health.

What makes this treatment special is the machine. Using patented technology, this machine performs all of the above. It’s basically like a fancier version of a microdermabrasion machine.

It’s a great facial for all ages

This facial is great for teenagers with acne, adult acne, anyone with lots of blackheads and clogged pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and older patients with sun damage. Apparently celebrities use HydraFacials to achieve that extra glow before red-carpet events!

Instant gratification

Completed in just 30 minutes in our Adelaide salon, the HydraFacial is quick, and your skin won’t need any down time to show results. It instantly improves skin texture and tone (and even acne) without any residual irritation or peeling. More sensitive skin types might experience a bit of redness though.

Works well in conjunction with other treatments

The HydraFacial can be done the very same day as injectables and non-ablative light and laser treatments.

Customisable to suit your skin concerns

Your aesthetician can choose from different strength peels and serums based on your previous experience with peels, your skin type, and your desired outcome. So is the tool’s suction power, which is fantastic as delicate areas like under the eyes require a more gentle suction.

See what came out of your skin!

After your treatment concludes, you can ask to see gunk that came out of your face during the extraction phase. Everything that is sucked out of your face is held in a transparent tube that sits in the back of the machine. All of that flotsam swirling around in the watery substance… yep, they used to be your blackheads! Gross for some, but oh-so satisfying for others.

The cost

Our price is $175 for a full-face, however, book throughout July 2020 and receive the treatment for just $155.
